New Zealand atmospheric/dissonant death metal greats Ulcerate have announced a new album, Cutting the Throat of God, due June 14 via Debemur Morti Productions (pre-order). The album was produced by drummer Jamie Saint Merat, mastered by Cult of Luna’s Magnus Lindberg, and judging by the seven-and-a-half minute lead single “The Dawn Is Hollow,” the band sounds as twisted and darkly epic as ever.
