BOYS NIGHT OUT
Canadian emo vets Boys Night Out announce 20th anniversary for their classic 2005 album Trainwreck, with support varying by date from Mest, Have Mercy, Spitalfield, Park, and rosecoloredworld. The NYC show is at Racket on November 9 with Spitalfield and rosecoloredworld.
SATURDAYS AT YOUR PLACE
Kalamazoo emo band Saturdays at Your Place’s new album ‘These Things Happen’ arrives in September and they’ll be on tour with Carly Cosgrove and Riley!
BEST FRIENDS FOREVER 2025
Second wave emo fest Best Friends Forever has announced single day lineups (and single day tickets).
SBTRKT
SBTRKT is heading to the US in August for a short DJ tour starting in Brooklyn (Elsewhere Hall on 8/8) and then heading to Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
HAIRCUT 100
New wave vets Haircut 100 are on tour this fall with Howard Jones, but before they go back to the UK, they will be hitting NYC for a headline show at Sony Hall on September 26.
HOT CHIP
Hot Chip will celebrate their new Greatest Hits compilation with special shows in London, NYC and LA.
THE RAPTURE
Speaking of the mid-’00s, The Rapture have announced their most extensive headline tour in 15 years.
BLOOD ORANGE
After dates opening for Turnstile and Lorde, Blood Orange will play a few headline shows, including two in Brooklyn.
JOHN MAUS
John Maus is touring this fall in support of new album Later Than You Think and sold out his show at Warsaw on 9/24 and has now added a second date at the same venue on 10/4.
GEESE
NYC band Geese, who just announced a new album, have added more dates to their upcoming tour.
SHAME
Shame will tour North America for their upcoming album Cutthroat…but not till early next year.
IRIS DEMENT
Folk great Iris Dement will be on tour later this summer and plays NYC’s Sony Hall on August 19.
HAYWIRE
Boston’s Haywire are in the midst of their huge tour and the NYC date, which was originally at TV Eye, has been moved to The Meadows on July 29 (same day).
NEGATIVE APPROACH
Dinosaur Jr’s tour Snail Mail and Easy Action starts next Tuesday, July 15 in Deerfield, MA and then hits Brooklyn on July 17 at Prospect Park. Between those shows, Easy Action frontman John Brannon’s other band, Negative Approach, will play TV Eye on July 16 with No Idols, Who Pays, and The Tarrys.
BIOHAZARD
Biohazard, who might have a new album this year, will be on tour this fall.
FEAR FACTORY
Fear Factory are on tour this fall celebrating their second album Demanufacture.
CARCASS / NECROT / BRUJERIA / HEDONIST
Carcass have announced the North American Putrefaction 2025 Tour which has them out with Necrot, Brujeria and Hedonist. The tour begins September 16 in Birmingham, AL and includes stops in Louisville, Rochester, Toronto, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and more.
SEX WEEK
Brooklyn dreampop duo Sex Week will release the Upper Mezzanine EP on August 1 and will celebrate with a show at TV Eye on August 1 with Comet and Darla Dean Lewis.
NIGHT SHOP / CASSIE RAMONE
Night Shop, aka the solo project of Justin Sullivan, will be celebrating the release of new album The Beloved Returns with a NYC show at Union Pool on Wednesday, July 9. Joining him is his former The Babies bandmate Cassie Ramone. (Dig the vintage Todd P listings on the show flyer!) There’s also a “special guest TBA.”
Night Shop also have West Coast dates in August.
ANNA OF THE NORTH
Norwegian artist Anna of the North will be back in North America this fall, including a Brooklyn show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on July 11.

John Summit is bringing EDM in festival form back to NYC.
