Tool are getting in on the destination festival business. They’ve announced their inaugural Tool Live in the Sand, an all-inclusive event happening on March 7-9 at Hard Rock & Royalton Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Tool will play two sets, and the lineup also features Primus, Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal, Coheed and Cambria, King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, CKY, Moonwalker, and the band’s longtime visual collaborators Alex Grey and Allyson Grey.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the news that Primus, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria will be joining us for our first-ever Caribbean performance at ‘Tool in the Sand,'” Justin Chancellor says. “2025 is shaping up nicely. See you all there for what should be an unforgettable weekend of music!”
Ticket packages go on sale Wednesday, October 30 at 10 AM PST.
Primus are also touring this year with a couple of Maynard James Keenan’s non-Tool projects, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle, and Coheed and Cambria recently announced the lineup of their 2025 cruise festival, S.S. Neverender.
