System of a Down and Deftones are joining forces for a special co-headlining show in San Francisco this summer. It’s being billed as a “one night only” event, and it happens on Saturday, August 17 at Golden Gate Park, where they’ll also be joined by The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and VOWWS. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10 AM PDT, with various presales starting Wednesday, April 10 at 10 AM DT.
System of a Down also headline the 2024 edition of Sick New World later this month, which is their only other upcoming show.
Deftones play Coachella the next two weekends, and they have a few more festival appearances coming up in the summer, including Lollapalooza and Primavera Sound.
The Mars Volta have some shows in June leading up to their set at Bonnaroo, which they say are their only headlining dates this year.
Viagra Boys have shows lined up in the UK and Europe, and they’re also on the lineup for No Values fest.
