System Of A Down are finally returning to the East Coast! Their shows are few and far between these days, and it’s been a very long time since they’ve played anywhere near NYC. That finally changes when they play NJ’s MetLife Stadium on August 28, which is one of three just-announced North American shows, also including Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 31 and Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on September 3.

Each show has direct support from another veteran alt-metal band–MetLife is with Korn, Soldier Field is with Avenged Sevenfold, and Rogers Stadium is with Deftones–and all three shows are with the proggy Polyphia and rising shoegazer Wisp.
You can get tickets for the MetLife show early on BrooklynVegan Presale starting Thursday, December 12 at 12 PM ET. Use the password BYOBV. Any remaining tickets, and tickets to all dates, go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 13 at 12 PM local.
Deftones are also doing a headlining tour in 2025 with The Mars Volta and Fleshwater, including shows at Madison Square Garden and Prudential Center.
