Nü-metal-and-more festival Sick New World has been teasing its return next year after having this year’s edition cancelled, and now they’ve announced not one but two editions for 2026, happening in Las Vegas, NV (Saturday, April 25 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds) and Fort Worth, TX (Saturday, October 24 at Texas Motor Speedway). System of a Down headline both (as Serj Tankian recently confirmed), and Vegas is with Korn also on the top line, while Fort Worth is with Deftones and Slayer (celebrating 40 years of Reign in Blood).
Both editions of the fest have a lot of overlap, with Ministry, AFI, Underoath, Knocked Loose, Sunami, Scowl, Mastodon, Glassjaw, Superheaven, Terror, Clutch, Better Lovers, Melvins, Pain of Truth, and KMFDM on each bill. Vegas also has Acid Bath, Danny Elfman, Speed, Cypress Hill, HEALTH, Carpenter Brut, Pig Pen and more, and Fort Worth has Deafheaven, The Prodigy, Power Trip, Haywire, Down, Boy Harsher, Lords of Acid, and others.
