Post-hardcore vets Saosin teased new music when founding guitarist and songwriter Beau Burchell gave a career-spanning interview on the BrooklynVegan Interviews podcast in 2024, and now they’ve finally released their first new song in a decade, “Starting Over Again.” The band have recently played shows with both of their lead vocalists (Anthony Green and Cove Reber), but Cove has officially resumed the role and he sings with them on this one. It was produced and mixed by Burchell and guitarist Phil Sgrosso (formerly of As I Lay Dying), who joined the band in 2016.
“‘Starting Over Again’ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realizing the timing finally felt right,” Saosin say. “The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked. This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”

They’re on tour this year, but the only US show they’ve got lined up is Aftershock fest in Sacramento in October. They’re also on the E.N.D. Cruise 2027 which happens in January with Yellowcard, The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade and more.
Meanwhile, Green will also be busy this year with Circa Survive, who are returning from an “indefinite hiatus” for their first shows in almost five years.
