Olympia/Oakland black metal/slowcore duo Ragana have announced an East Coast/Midwest tour with NJ’s blackened, sludgy, noisy Sunrot for this summer. It stops in NY, NJ. Philly, Detroit, Chicago, and more, and ticket info is coming soon.
For those in and around NYC, the tour hits Montclair, NJ’s Meatlocker on July 31 and Ridgewood, NY’s Trans-Pecos on August 1. All dates are listed below.
Ragana will also be in Queens sooner than that when they play Outline at Knockdown Center on June 22 with The Armed, King Woman, Chat Pile, Cloakroom, and Couch Slut.
Ragana and Sunrot both released excellent new LPs last year, Desolation’s Flower (on The Flenser) and The Unfailing Rope (on Prosthetic), respectively. Stream both below.
