My Chemical Romance headlining Louder Than Life, Welcome to Rockville & Sonic Temple in 2026

My Chemical Romance recently began teasing a continuation of their Long Live the Black Parade tour, with billboards and stencils spotted in NYC, San Diego, Minneapolis, Detroit, and Phoenix, among other cities. We still don’t know the full extent of their 2026 tour plans (they already announced shows in Latin America, Asia, and London), but we know there will be at least three new dates, when they headline the 2026 editions of three Danny Wimmer festivals, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, and Louder than Life. A video announcing the news was shown at the main stage at Louder than Life on Friday, and the University of Louisville Cardinal Marching Band performed “Welcome to the Black Parade” right after. Watch video of that below.

The full 2026 lineups for all three festivals are still to be announced, but Welcome to Rockville runs from May 7-10 in Daytona Beach, FL and Sonic Temple happens May 14-17 in Columbus, OH. Louder Than Life’s 2026 dates are still to be announced.

MCR have mostly wrapped up the North American leg of their 2025 tour, with just one festival date, Shaky Knees, left for this weekend.

Meanwhile, Gerard Way and members of The Interrupters recently released their first single as The Mock-Ups, “I Wanna Know Your Name.”
