Japanese post-rock vets MONO have announced their twelfth album, OATH, due June 14 via Temporary Residence Ltd (North America, Japan), Pelagic Records (UK/EU), and New Noise (China) (pre-order). The 11-song, 71-minute album was recorded and mixed with longtime collaborator Steve Albini, and the 98-second album teaser video (made by EarthQuakerDevices) is a very promising taste of orchestral rock that abruptly cuts off just as it starts to build.
