While the future seemed uncertain for Maryland Deathfest after they announced a hiatus after their 2022 edition, they are back this weekend (May 23-26) in Baltimore, and they’ve now announced the initial lineup for their 2025 edition, which will happen on May 22-25. It features full album sets from Obituary (Cause of Death 35th anniversary) and Paradise Lost (Draconian Times 30th anniversary), as well as Abrade, Altar of Gore, Asphyx, Benediction, Caustic Wound, Criplle Bastards, Cult of Fire, Dark Funeral, Dripping, Human Artifacts, Kampfar, Orange Goblin, Nile, Primitive Warfare, Psudoku, Shape of Despair, Skepticism, and Unleashed.
