Many thought it would never happen…. Loathe returned last year with “Gifted Every Strength,” their first new music since their 2020 sophomore album I Let It in and It Took Everything, and now they’ve finally announced the follow-up to that. A Stranger To You, their third LP, is out on July 17 via SharpTone Records. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by the band’s Erik Bickerstaffe, with additional mixing from Ed Al-Shakarchi, and it features Jordan Rakei, Static Dress, Mansur Brown, NOWHERE2RUN, and bucki sugar. The tracklist is still to be revealed, but you can see the cover art below.
We have two exclusive vinyl variants of A Stranger To You: one on “Natural Black Marbled” and the other on “Orange Transparent Black Marbled” vinyl, limited to 500 copies each. They’re available for pre-order in the BV shop.
The album includes “Gifted Every Strength,” and they’ve shared a second single, “Revenant,” which features NOWHERE2RUN, the duo of Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose, both of Code Orange. Watch the video below.
