Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer has a new dark ambient project with composer/filmmaker Chris Hunt called Venera, and their self-titled debut album arrives October 13 via Ipecac. It features guest vocals from HEALTH‘s Jacob Duzsik on “Ochre,” VOWWS‘ Rizz on “Hologram,” and Alain Johannes on “Triangle,” plus drums from Deantoni Parks (The Mars Volta, Flying Lotus, etc) on “Erosion” and “Disintegration.” The song with Rizz from VOWWS is out now, following previous single “Swarm,” and you can listen to both haunting tracks below.
