King Diamond has announced his first North American tour since 2019. Myrkur will join him as a guest vocalist on the run, which seems to be called “Welcome to Saint Lucifer’s Hospital,” and NJ thrash legends Overkill and CA heavy metallers Night Demon will open the shows. They run from October 15 in San Antonio through December 6 in Dallas, and you can see all dates below.
The Brooklyn show is at Kings Theatre on October 30 (the same venue King Diamond played the last couple of times he was in NYC, with Mercyful Fate in 2022 and in 2019). Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, August 2 at 10 AM local time, with various presales starting Wednesday, July 31 at 10 AM local time.
We’ve also been anticipated a new album from King Diamond for a while now… might the time be drawing nigh? Stay tuned.
Overkill’s most recent album is last year’s Scorched, and they’ll be on tour in Europe ahead of the run with King Diamond. Night Demon will also tour Europe in the fall, including shows with Cirith Ungol. Myrkur released her new album Spine in October.
