Jesse Malin is keeping busy with his Off Broadway show, Silver Manhattan, which is running five nights a week at Bowery Palace (the former location of Bowery Electric), and he’s announced a final extension of the show, through May 10. Tickets are on sale now, with performances Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm.

Malin also shared a new video for his recent single “Hollywood Forever,” which pays tribute to his late D Generation bandmate and friend Howie Pyro, who inspired Silver Manhattan. It was directed by Pyro’s longtime friend Marti Wilkerson, and you can watch it below.
“Howie could get along with anybody,” Malin says. “He was friends with both Johnny and Joey Ramone. Hells Angels, skinheads, drag queens, comic-book nerds, art collectors, fashionistas—they all loved him.” He adds, “He would always say, if he had to go, Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the place he’d want to be buried.”
Malin’s book Almost Grown: A New York Memoir is also out now via Akashic Books.
