New Bedford straight edge heroes Have Heart are now 2/5 of the way complete with their five-show reunion tour. If you weren’t there, maybe you caught the video documenting the chaos of their massive sets at Tied Down and Outbreak in June. Show number three goes down this coming weekend in LA at Sound & Fury where vocalist Pat Flynn’s newer band Fiddlehead is also co-headlining. Days later it comes to an end with back-to-back sold out shows in Brooklyn and the band’s home turf of Boston.
Have Heart first disbanded back in 2009, not long after releasing their second of two full-lengths via Bridge Nine. Today, new vinyl pressings are being revealed for both of those LPs, and we’ve got limited-to-300 unit variants of both, 2006’s The Things We Carry on half opaque bone white/half opaque brown vinyl and 2008’s Songs to Scream at the Sun on half opaque aqua blue/half opaque baby blue vinyl. Pick them up along with exclusive variants of some Fiddlehead records now in the BV shop.
Fiddlehead also have a bunch of summer tour dates, including a run with Gel and MILLY, and they also play Riot Fest, Furnace Fest, and Best Friends Forever. We’ve got an exclusive violet vinyl variant of Gel’s upcoming Persona EP in the BV shop too. Gel are also on Have Heart’s Boston date and both of Have Heart’s East Coast shows are with Speed, whose debut album Only One Mode drops this week (and you can pick that up on exclusive black & white vinyl in the BV shop as well).
