Mistress is a new doom metal band featuring members of Fuming Mouth, High Command, and more. Their debut album is coming in 2025, but a four-song demo mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk is out now, and it finds them leaning fully into the thick, fuzzed-out, slow-paced riffage and soaring vocals of traditional doom. They cite bands like Candlemass, Electric Wizard, and Trouble as comparisons, and that’s very much the cloth that these songs are cut from. Listen below.
