Fugitive–aka Seth Gilmore (Skourge) on vocals, Blake Ibanez (Power Trip) and Victor Gutierrez (Impalers) on guitars, Andy Messer (ANS, Stymie) on bass, and Lincoln Mullins (Creeping Death) on drums–put out their debut EP Maniac on 20 Buck Spin last year, and now they’ve just followed it with a new two-song single, “Blast Furnace” b/w “Standoff.” Blake produced it himself, and both songs are rippers that are cut from the same thrash/hardcore cloth as Maniac. The single comes just in time for Fugitive’s set at Sound & Fury this month, and Fugitive are also playing the Metallica pre-show gig in Dallas with Tribal Gaze in August.
