Tampa hardcore festival FYA Fest has announced its 2025 lineup, and among other things, it features a reunion set from Foundation! The beloved Atlanta hardcore band broke up in 2016 after putting out their final EP Turncoat in 2015. Since their breakup, members went on to play in Slow Fire Pistol, Candy, Abuse of Power, Criminal Instinct, and more.
The lineup also includes the back-in-action Nails, plus reunion sets from The Mongoloids, Kids Like Us, and Blistered. Plus, Mindforce, Terror, Fury, Death Threat, Torture, Balmora, Collateral, Big Boy, Contention, Final Resting Place, Holy Blade, Missing Link, Scarab, Sanction, Internal Bleeding, and a bunch of others are playing. Tickets go on sale Friday (8/16) at noon Eastern. It happens on January 4-5, and the full lineup is on the flyer below.
As far as we can tell, Blistered last played at FYA Fest 2017, The Mongoloids broke up after a final set at Back To School Jam 2014 and haven’t played since, and Kids Like Us haven’t played since 2015. Nails have a new lineup and their first album in 8 years comes out this month, followed by a tour.
Death metal being a part of hardcore fests has now been a thing for a minute, including the much-talked-about Dying Fetus set at FYA 2024. With Long Island slam death metal legends Internal Bleeding, current hardcore-scene slam death metal sensations Torture, and DAZE supergroup Final Resting Place on this year’s lineup, that trend is still alive. Torture, meanwhile, just played one of the most-talked-about sets at Sound & Fury.
Holy Blade is the new AFI worship band from members of God’s Hate, Twitching Tongues, and Cosmic Joke, and this is their first-announced show.

UPDATE: The fest was initially announced as taking place at is usual venue, the Shanna and Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center, but FYA is now looking for a new venue, following Israel-related backlash.
