NY firefighter and hero William Tolley was tragically killed in Ridgewood while fighting a fire today. As you might be seeing all over the news, he fell five stories to his death, leaving a wife and daughter behind.
He was also the drummer of Long Island death metal band Internal Bleeding. They posted the following message on their facebook:
Our drummer, the heartbeat of the band, William Tolley died today. There are ZERO WORDS to describe the loss. He was a good, decent and honorable man who loved his friends, his family and the people he served. There will never be another like him. There are no words to describe the utter sadness and despair we feel right now. We love you Bill.
Internal Bleeding, who formed in 1991, are scheduled to tour with Vader later this year.
Rest in Peace, William. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
