Seattle punks Filth Is Eternal have announced a new LP, Impossible World, due March 17 via MNRK Heavy (pre-order). The first single is “Stay Melted,” which finds Filth Is Eternal getting more melodic than ever in a way that kinda reminds me of Scowl.
The band says, “The world can feel like a total trash fire to the point where we become lethargic. Lethargy makes us our own worst enemy; sometimes you have to kill a thing before you lose yourself to it completely.” Check out the Sebastien Deramat-directed video below.
The album was engineered and mixed by Taylor Young, and it features contributions from The Blood Brothers’ Johnny Whitney, Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman, Baroness’ Gina Gleason, and Lauren Lavin.
