Linkin Park isn’t the only band fronted by the late Chester Bennington to be continuing on with a new singer. After Chester’s death, his pre-Linkin Park band Grey Daze regrouped to put the finishing touches on music they’d recorded with Chester in the ’90s and release a new album, 2020’s Amends, and they had enough material from Chester to do it again for 2022’s The Phoenix. Now, Grey Daze have also decided to release new music with a new singer.
They began playing shows with vocalist Cris Hodges in 2023, and now they’ve shared their first song with him on vocals, “Fake Little Lies.” “The last couple of years have been about celebrating Chester Bennington and his incredible influence with Grey Daze,” Hodges said. “But now, it’s time to turn the page and start writing the next chapter.” You can watch the video for the new song below.
