The Blood Brothers have announced different openers for every night of their upcoming reunion tour and the list of bands is genuinely awesome. It ranges from old friends to young screamo bands, and all kinds of abrasive stuff in between, including Rid of Me (Philly on 12/10), Soul Glo (Philly on 12/11), Fuck Money (Austin on 12/6), Portrayal of Guilt (Austin on 12/7), Stress Positions (Chicago on 12/20), meth. (Chicago on 12/21), Frail Body (Chicago on 12/22), Deaf Club (LA on 11/8), Heavenly Blue (Detroit on 12/18), Filth Is Eternal (Seattle on 11/15), Shutups (San Francisco on 11/2), World Peace (San Francisco on 11/3), Entry (Pomona on 11/5), and more.
When The Blood Brothers last played NYC, Orchid vocalist Jayson Green’s band Violent Bullshit opened. Orchid have since reunited, and though they aren’t on any of these shows, the first of four NYC shows (12/13 at Irving Plaza) is with another legendary, recently-reunited screamo band, Saetia. The other three shows are with Jivebomb (12/14 at Irving Plaza), Uniform (12/15 at Warsaw) and Venus Twins (12/16 at Warsaw).
