San Francisco doom 2-piece Black Cobra have been on tour with fellow doom greats Yob for much of the fall. After playing two shows in NYC at Bell House and Webster Hall earlier in November (and hanging with famed vegan cookbook author Terry Hope Romero), the band ran into what sounds like a pretty harrowing van accident in Texas (everyone is thankfully OK). From Black Cobra’s Facebook:
We just had a pretty crazy accident in the middle of Texas, but after a couple van flips, we made it out alive and pretty much unscathed except for a couple scratches. We are now rolling with the amazing gents in #Yob and will be finishing out the remaining tour dates with them. Thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts our way.
