New York rapper Wiki has announced a new album, Ancient History, due out June 12 via Wikset Enterprise. It follows his 2023 albums with Tony Seltzer (14k Figaro) and MIKE and The Alchemist (Faith Is a Rock), his 2023 EP, and a bunch of other releases of the past few years, and he also recently made a cameo appearance in Marty Supreme. He worked on it with a bunch of producers, including The Alchemist, Navy Blue, Dom Maker, dj blackpower, Nick Hakim, Laron, and more, and the album also features Your Old Droog, duendita, and Salimata. With lines like “Caught in a sea of concrete – what these streets are / I need to see some trees even if these trees sparse,” the first single, “Park,” is inspired by NYC’s parks. Hear it below.
