We’ve said more than once that 2016 breakthrough artist Anderson .Paak really has to be seen live. If you still haven’t done that, you can now get a taste of his performance style from his new NPR Tiny Desk Concert. It’s a little more subdued than his shows are, with Paak singing from behind the drum kit the whole time rather than doing the frontman thing, but his skill comes across expertly here.
