Tierra Whack is back and will release a new mixtape, WHACK’S MUSEUM, on Juneteenth via Interscope. It’s her first release since dropping her debut full-length album, WORLD WIDE WHACK, in 2024.
The tracklist hasn’t been revealed, but she has shared the first single, “WAX PAPER,” which of course comes with an eye-popping video that was shot in stark black and white in Whack’s hometown of Philadelphia.
“Philadelphia isn’t polished,” says Child, who directed the video. “It’s a living museum held together by grit, community, and memory. We kept coming back to old hip-hop videos, chasing that feeling Wu-Tang captured in the ’90s—raw, cinematic, and deeply rooted in the places and people that shaped it. Every frame feels lifted from the soul of the culture there, a snapshot of resilience, rhythm, and truth.”
