To honor the late, great Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest, there’s currently a Change.org petition asking to rename the block of Linden Boulevard between 192 Street and 193 Street in Queens “A Tribe Called Quest Boulevard,” as Vulture points out. As of this posting, the petition has 3,349 signatures with a goal of 5,000, at which time it will be brought to Councilmember I. Daneek Miller and Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito. It’s a scenario we endorse.
