UK rapper Kojey Radical has gotten has fair share of comparisons to Kendrick Lamar, and it’s hard to ignore that he does sometimes sound like him, but he’s also got a vibe of his own and last year’s Cashmere Tears was a highlight in a year that had no shortage of great UK rap records. He’s now in the midst of his first North American tour, with support from Brooklyn Afro-funk artist KAMAUU, which began in Chicago last night (2/19) and is about to hit Toronto, NYC, and LA.
Toronto is sold out, but you can still get tickets to the NYC (Baby’s All Right on 2/24) and LA (Moroccan Lounge on 2/25) shows. After those, he’s got Europe and UK dates lined up. All are listed here.
