UPDATE: Kanye postponed tour dates.
Kanye West, who never got to play his set at Governors Ball over the summer, was playing his “makeup show” as Sunday’s Meadows Fest headliner in Queens, but he didn’t play a full set this time either, as you can see in this twitter video:

As you can hear, he was in the middle of “Heartless” when he announced he was leaving the stage due to a family emergency. We hope all is well with Kanye’s family.
UPDATE: CNN reports that Kanye’s wife “Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room Sunday by armed men; she was not harmed her rep tells me.”

The fest, which also had a major last minute cancellation from The Weeknd, issued this Twitter statement:
Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.

UPDATE: The fest also sent out a statement that reads, “Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family.”
