A massive double bill for soul/R&B fans was just announced: the legendary Erykah Badu and the fast-rising H.E.R. (who had a big night at the Grammys this past Sunday) will team up at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on May 11. Tickets go on sale February 18 at 10 AM.
Meanwhile, Erykah is in the midst of her previously announced tour now, and hitting Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on Saturday (2/16) with Busta Rhymes (tickets).
H.E.R. also plays a Valentine’s Day (2/14) show at NYC’s Sony Hall, presented by Sony’s Lost In Music. It’s free with RSVP, but RSVP does not guarantee entry (first come, first served). Guests will start being admitted at 6:30 PM and H.E.R. goes on at 7:30 PM. More info here. After that, she’s playing London and Paris with Childish Gambino.
No word yet on if Erykah and H.E.R. have other dates together, but all currently known dates are listed below, alongside a stream of Erykah’s 2015 single “Caint Use My Phone” and video of H.E.R.’s recent Grammy performance.
