Bad Bunny has just been announced as the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show performer. The game goes down February 8, 2026 at Santa Clara, California’s Levi’s Stadium (home of the San Francisco 49ers), and it’ll air on NBC. It’ll be Bad Bunny’s first time headlining the Halftime Show but second time performing; he and J Balvin were surprise guests at Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s Halftime Show in 2020.
In a statement, Bad Bunny said, “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.” Watch the trailer video below.
Bad Bunny recently told i-D that he would refrain from playing concerts in the United States during his ongoing world tour, because “fucking ICE could be outside [my concert],” and he addressed those comments with regards to his Super Bowl performance on X/Twitter. “I’ve been thinking about it these days,” he wrote, “and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.”
Much sooner than the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny will be on national television when he hosts the Saturday Night Live season 51 premiere this Saturday (10/4), with musical guest Doja Cat. Earlier this year, the reggaeton/Latin trap star released his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. We’ll have to wait and see what exactly he has up his sleeves for the Halftime Show, but we know his live shows are always spectacular.
This past year’s Halftime Show performer was Kendrick Lamar with special guest SZA.
