As Stephen Colbert noted, after over 20 years of making music, Aesop Rock made his television debut last night on The Late Show. Rock, who also played Irving Plaza yesterday (6/13), stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater to perform The Impossible Kid single “Dorks” backed by indie stalwarts Yo La Tengo. Along with a DJ and hype man, YLT brought a little discordant air to Aesop Rock’s track. Watch video below.
