The Wire Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary at NYC’s Knockdown Center, this year happening across four days from May 14-17.
Things start Thursday, May 14, but the festival really kicks into gear on Friday night (5/16) when it will go nonstop from 8 PM through Sunday (5/17) at 10 PM. Saturday and Sunday days will feature sets on the outdoor Ruins stage, and partners this year include Berlin’s Herrensauna, London club FOLD, Montréal’s MUTEK festival and Germany’s WHOLE Festival who will all present stage takeovers.
This year’s lineup includes live sets from Alvo Nota, Arushi Jain, DAX J, Voices From The Lake, Stef Mendesidis, Dopplereffekt, Chlär, and more. DJ sets Aurora Halal, BASHKKA, Courtesy, Freddy K, Fadi Mohem, Massimiliano Pagliara, Peach, Roza Terenzi, Juliana Huxtable, Physical Therapy and more.
