Daniel Lopatin has announced a new Oneohtrix Point Never album, Again, which will be out September 29 via Warp. He calls it “a speculative autobiography,” and according to the press release it’s “a meditation on his musical identity during young adulthood from the perspective of middle age” while morphing into an “illogical period piece.”
While 0PN hasn’t shared a song from the album yet, he has released a trailer, which consists entirely of people on the streets of NYC being asked to pronounce “Oneohtrix Point Never.” It’s pretty funny and you can watch below.
