French art pop musician Oklou has shared two new singles, “Harvest Sky” and “Obvious,” the former of which features shapeshifting electronic popster underscores. Danny L Harle and Nick León contributed some production elements as well.
“‘harvest sky’ is probably my third attempt to talk about a thing that happens at times during festivities; zoom out from the crowd and enter a lonely mental space,” Oklou says. “‘obvious’ has got many names in the past, but I love this one cause this track feels very close to what defines a special tone in my music, in a core-ish way. It also talks about something dear to my heart: music vs words.” Listen to both, along with the video for Oklou’s other recent single “Family and Friends,” below.
Oklou has also announced shows across major cities in Europe/UK and North America for 2025, including NYC, Chicago, Austin, LA, and San Francisco. The NYC show happens at Elsewhere Hall on March 21, and tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (10/18). All dates are listed below.
