New Order are releasing “People of the Highline,” from last year’s Music Complete, as a new single. You can get it as a picture disc 12″ featuring design by their longtime collaborator Peter Saville, with a Claptone remix on the A-side and an extended mix on the flip. The digital download card comes with additional remixes by Late Nite Tuff Guy, Hybrid and Planet Funk. You can stream those remixes below. They’ve also just made a video for “People of the Highline,” directed by Grace Lambert & Jackson Ducasse, who continue New Order’s tradition of not really appearing in their own videos. Here, it’s a couple of young breakdancers practicing in a restaurant’s off-hours, with a very New Order ending. Watch that below.
