Madonna did a surprise pop-up performance in Times Square last month, and now that her new album, Confessions II, has arrived, she’ll celebrate with another NYC event happening this weekend. The album reteams her with producer and collaborator Stuart Price, and he’s one of the people listed on the flyer for “Club Confessions New York,” happening on Saturday (July 11) at Knockdown Center. Price was a hitmaker on his own in the ’90s as Les Rythmes Digitales, and also on the lineup are Honey Dijon, Fcukers, Junior Sanchez, and Sam-E.
No word right now on how to get tickets, but we’ll update this if we learn otherwise.
Madonna is also one of the headliners of the World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium (aka “New York New Jersey Stadium”) on July 19, along with Shakira and BTS. Since the halftime show was announced, they’ve added Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and the PS 22 Chorus ft. Coldplay (whose Chris Martin curated this lineup).
