Burial has released the “Dreamfear”/”Boy Sent From Above” single, his first release since 2022’s Streetlands EP and his first release for XL Recordings, following years of releases for Hyperdub. The two songs clock in at over 26 minutes, and it’s a fine display of Burial’s trademark pitched-up samples, haunting atmosphere, and jittery beatwork, with some unexpected left turns worked in too.
