After teasing something last week, Scottish electronic duo Boards of Canada have officially announced their first album in 13 years. It’s titled Inferno and will be out May 29 via their longtime label Warp.
As usual with BoC, there’s not a lot of concrete information apart from the cover art and the 18-song tracklist, which includes titles like “Somewhere Right Now In The Future,” “You Retreat In Time And Space,” and “Hydrogen Helium Lithium Leviathan.” The track that appeared on YouTube last week was just titled “Tape 05,” so that might be “Father And Son,” but we’ll have to wait and see.
