ANTHONY JESELNIK
Comedian Anthony Jeselnik has just announced 2024 dates for his ongoing Bones and All tour. That hits NYC at Beacon Theatre on March 23. He’ll be in NYC before that when his tour hits the NY Comedy Festival on November 10 at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium.
JOHN MELLENCAMP
John Mellencamp will extend his “Live and In Person Tour” into 2024, with dates beginning March 8 in Rochester and running through April 23 in Savannah. The tour hits the NYC area at Newark’s NJPAC on March 10.
BOB DYLAN
For those who were disappointed that Bob Dylan’s tour did not include a show at NYC’s Beacon Theater, well now it does.
STEVE EARLE
Steve Earl has announced his annual Solo & Acoustic Residency at NYC’s City Winery, with shows on January 22, February 20 and March 12. He’ll also play Carnegie Hall on November 19 as part of “Music + Revolution: Greenwich Village in the 1960s” which is hosted by Richard Barone, and also features Lenny Kaye, Justin Vivian Bond, The Feelies’ Glenn Mercer, Marshall Crenshaw, Vernon Reid, José Feliciano, and more, and benefits MusiCares and Village Preservation. L.S. Dunes are about to hit the road with Pierce the Veil and Dayseeker, and when that wraps up they’ll cap off their busy 2023 with a special Long Island show.

Philly death metal boundary-pushers Horrendous have announced a round of winter Northeast release shows celebrating their great new record Ontological Mysterium, and they’ll be joined by fellow Pennsylvania death metallers Outer Heaven, who also put out a great new album this year, Infinite Psychic Depths.

Mt Joy are staying busy, with upcoming dates opening for Greta Van Fleet, Zach Bryan, and Noah Kahan. They’ve also announced a huge NYC headline show, playing Madison Square Garden on September 28. That’s their only fall 2024 tour date so far. Head here for their full schedule.
RUFUS & MARTHA WAINWRIGHT: THE NIGHT BEFORE A NOT SO SILENT NIGHT
Rufus & Martha Wainwright’s annual A Not So Silent Night holiday concert at Town Hall (12/22) has sold out, so they’ve announced a second night, which happens at Brooklyn’s Murmrr Theatre on December 21 and features the same artists: Rufus, Martha, Emmylou Harris, Sean Ono Lennon, Loudon Wainwright, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Sloan Wainwright, Jenni Muldaur, and Chaim Tannenbaum.

State Champs wrap up their tour with Boys Like Girls this week — tonight’s Philly show is being livestreamed — and they’ve just announced they’ll close out the year with two NYC shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2013 debut album, The Finer Things, at Le Poisson Rouge on December 7 & 8.

Mariah Carey will soon be on her Merry Christmas One And All Tour and she’s added a second NYC show at Madison Square Garden on December 9. You can still get tickets to the 12/17 MSG show too.
