John Mulaney has announced a nine-show NYC run culminating with a performance at Madison Square Garden that he’s dubbed “Mulaney Takes Manhattan.”
It goes down in January 2027, beginning in small venues and then moving to increasingly larger ones, from Comedy Cellar to the Blue Note Jazz Club to Joe’s Pub to Bowery Ballroom to Music Box Theater on Broadway to Beacon Theatre to Carnegie Hall to Radio City and finally to MSG.
“Each show will feature special guests and each one will have a whole lot of different,” he says. “Going to all 9 might seem extreme but I bet you’d enjoy it. I’ll be going to all of them myself albeit for my own reasons.”
