Dave Hill has been extended. His Off-Broadway show Caveman in a Spaceship, that is. Its original run at SoHo Playhouse was set to conclude on October 11 but it will now run through November 4 with shows on Mondays at 7:30 PM and Fridays at 9 PM. Tickets are on sale.
“This show is me bringing the energy of an arena rock show to an Off-Broadway theater that I can easily walk to from my apartment,” says Hill. “Sure, it’s dangerous, but more importantly, I’m not afraid to die. I’m excited to extend this run in to November for the fans. And also, for me. So, yeah, for the fans and also me combined into one unstoppable force that most people can’t even handle probably. Thank you.”
With Dave backed by a house band, Caveman in a Spaceship mixes “stand-up, storytelling, sweet guitar solos, ill-advised feats of strength, and at least one BMX stunt into a face-melting show that explores life, death, love, religion, and his ever-growing discomfort in an often confusing, futuristic world.”
