Long-running comedy showcase Newcomers, where up-and-coming comedians make their debuts at Brooklyn’s The Bell House, began in 2021, and has since featured 135 comics. It’s produced by Omnipop manager/producer Carly Hoogendyk, and beginning in 2025, they’ll add a spring showcase in Los Angeles in addition to the current fall show in Brooklyn.
Newcomers’ latest edition was held at the Bell House on November 3rd and featured guest host Chris Gethard. It was also a taping for music/comedy streaming service Veeps, the shows’s new second home, and It’s available to stream now for subscribers with sets from comedians Ash Diggs, Emily Wirth, Heidi Grandberry, Jo Sunday, Keegan Tindall, Kelly Bachman, Kendall Relf, Kenya Elan, Liam Nelson, Lily Armstrong, Meredith Dietz, Ryan Roman, Shaunak Godkhindi, Sila Puhl, and Will Lampe.
